John attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his B.A. in Political Science.

Blake attended Reinhardt University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

2026 Beam Institute industry conference
We are pleased to announce that Jeff Bruinsma will be a speaker at the 2026 Beam Institute Industry Conference on March 16th-18th in Lexington, KY.
Jeff’s presentation – From Barrel to Bandwidth: Taking Ethernet APL into Hazardous Areas – will outline the unique challenges distiller’s face when connecting equipment in hazardous areas.
M.G. Newell Expands in Greensboro
M.G. Newell continues to grow! We’ve purchased a new building at the corner of Cessna Drive and Gallimore Dairy Road in Greensboro. After some remodeling work, the Greensboro Division engineers and sales team will be moving to this location.
Corporate associates will remain at our current location on Citation Court.
