Flow Meters

Precise flow control is the basis for safe and efficient processes in almost all applications. But when is the electro-magnetic, turbine, ultrasonic or calorimetric technology better? Find the best solution for your application ... Essentially, the Anderson-Negele product line offers four measuring principles for the flow measurement of liquids: electromagnetic flow measurement, turbine flow measurement, Coriolis Mass Flow and Density measurement and Calorimatric Flow Switches.

Chart Recorders

Anderson's range of chart recorders, including the AJ-300 and AV-9000 receive inputs from a range of instruments, including RTDs, flow, temperature, pressure transmitters, or thermocouples. The inputs are translated to temperature, flow rate, or other measurements, then the readings are transcribed to paper using pens or ink cartridges. Inputs can also be used for indicating, control, switching, and alarming functions. Units can be specified with full PID control including auto/manual control and remote set-point capability.

Anderson-Negele’s line of temperature sensors ensure efficient processes and sustainable quality with the highest precision and short response times when measuring temperatures and temperature changes in liquid media in many applications, including breweries, dairies, beverage and wine production and in the pharmaceutical industry.

The high-quality Anderson-Negele temperature sensors and gauges are manufactured completely in stainless steel. For applications in the food industry quality class 1.4404 (316L) is used, and for pharmaceutical applications 1.4435 (316L) is used. Due to their extremely robust and durable design, the sensors can withstand extreme mechanical stresses such as vibrations and pressure shocks that occur repeatedly in many applications in practice.

Anderson-Negele offers a wide range of process connections to ensure extensive flexibility when it comes to installation in new plants or retrofitting in existing processes, tanks, or pipes. In addition to temperature sensors with Tri-Clamp connection or O-ring seals, there are also versions that allow for installation without a process opening and can be used in pipelines with very small diameters. Most configurations meet Sanitary design specifications such as EHEDG, 3-A, and FDA.

Chart Recorders

The AJ-300 series drag pen style circular chart recorders are available as single or dual channel and offers a full PID controller option. The AJ series is capable of accepting both RTD and mA input signals with a mA retransmission option. The NEMA 4X case withstands repeated washdowns and high humidity making it perfect for Food, Beverage and Dairy applications.

The AV-9000, a revolutionary circular chart recorder. It features a four-color marker pen cartridge which prints information as it glides across 12 inch charts. Chart reading is simplified by providing color coded trend lines, scales and alphanumeric data. Plain paper charts are far superior for record retention than “fax type” thermal paper used by competitors
